  • Field Records
  • The MyFarm map screen

The interior boundary functionality of your portal is important to maximize the cost cutting potential of the platform. Create passable and impassable sections of your fields that generate important cut off points for your in-field machinery. With interior boundaries you can control variable rates of equipment with incredible precision and maximize the financial potential of fields with total accuracy.

To set up your interior holes on new field records:

1.  Select the Add menu icon, located next to the Setup icon on the Horizontal MyFarm Navbar.

2.  Under the MyFarm sub-menu, select the Field option. This will create a new field record.

3.  In the Location box, under the Draw Holes heading select either the Draw Passable Holes or Draw Impassable Holes option, depending on machinery access to the boundary.

4.  This will open up the MyFarm Draw tool. Here you can use independent mouse-clicks to sequentially draw interior boundaries around selected parts of the field. Once you’ve finished, select Stop Drawing and then Done.

Setting up interior holes on existing fields:

1.  Select the Setup icon, depicted as the gear icon on the Horizontal MyFarm Navbar.

2.  Select the Enterprise tab and then select the Fields sub-tab.

3.  Hover over the selected field you want to edit and select anywhere in the cell to bring up the field record editing window.

4.  In the Location box, under the Draw Holes heading select either the Draw Passable Holes or Draw Impassable Holes option, depending on machinery access to the boundary.
