Key Account Manager - Mid South Region

About the role
Responsible for territory sales and account management of the dealer channel within the Mid West region of the United States, the successful applicant will undertake all assigned tasks and responsibilities effectively and professionally in accordance with company, team and customer expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Exceed quarterly and annual targets for dealer growth and per acre sales for the Mid South United States
  2. Build new relationships with potential dealers, qualify their needs and sign on with AgDNA
  3. Promote and market the AgDNA platform to potential dealers and growers
  4. Develop the territory distribution channel to maximize per acre data services and revenues
  5. Account management, support and training of existing and new dealers for your territory
  6. Organize and attend industry tradeshows, conferences and dealer clinics as required
  7. Support the development of sales processes and training requirements for dealer channel
  8. Help drive product roadmap direction by advocating the needs of the market
  9. Prepare and maintain all documentation relevant to territory including marketing budget, sales forecast and progress reports
  10. Perform tasks as specified by management
  11. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders
  12. Other related duties as required


  • 3-5 years of sales management experience with a demonstrated track record of meeting targets
  • Proven “B2B channel growth” background with ability to market and sell to business decision makers
  • Experience in selling and managing sales of precision agriculture software and/or hardware
  • Passion for precision farming solutions, customer success and agriculture industry
  • A strong, proven track record of successfully managing B2B channel relationships
  • Self-motivated, team-orientated, responsible and focused on exceeding customer expectations
  • Understanding of enterprise SaaS models, terminology, concepts and strategies
  • Exceptional management, organizational, presentation, and communication skills, both verbal and written

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline
  • Experience with Precision Farming software
  • Experience with mobile and cloud based software
  • Previous territory B2B sales and marketing experience

Computer Skills

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications 
  • Experience in precision farming and GIS software packages
  • Willingness to learn and participate in ongoing development of AgDNA platform
